Josh Cullen made a huge difference for West Ham when he replaced Manuel Lanzini midway through the first half of yesterday’s clash with Bournemouth at the London Stadium. And some Hammers fans took to Twitter to praise the midfielder for his performance.

Despite the shocking defeat to the Cherries, Cullen was one of the few shining lights.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan in the Championship with Charlton. And he really impressed with the south London club.
Cullen returned to West Ham at the end of last season. And it seems as though he could have a big role to play for us next term.
The midfielder was cool and composed in possession against Bournemouth. And he added some much need energy, mobility and impetus to our play in the middle of the park.
He also chipped in with two magnificent assists.
Without Declan Rice or Tomas Soucek we looked slow and laboured in our play through the middle.
So Cullen’s display yesterday was a real positive for us fans who have had to take a lot of disappointment on the chin already this summer.
