West Ham starlet Grady Diangana is starring on loan – but should he be recalled in January?
That is a question that is splitting opinion in the West Ham fanbase at the moment. There are strong arguments on both sides and fans have been discussing these on social media.
The Grady Diangana dilemma
On the one hand, Diangana is excelling in the Championship. The left-footed winger is playing for West Bromwich Albion under the stewardship of Slaven Bilic.
With the Baggies, Diangana is gaining a lot of confidence, valuable minutes and this is making him a better player. Recalling him is a risk because he is not guaranteed game time at The London Stadium.
On the flip side, Diangana is West Ham’s player and Manuel Pellegrini could do with him. West Ham are lacking pace and skill in the wide areas and Diangana is able to provide both of those.
The 21-year-old has proven his ability to score and create goals for West Brom this season. If he is recalled in January, he could start producing this level of performance for the Hammers.
Here are some West Ham fans discussing this dilemma.
Let Grady play a full season with the baggies and get the confidence of ripping defenders apart….then bring him back for pre season with WHU!!!!

Do it and also would be tempted to recall hugil

We should only loan him back if he’s definitely going to get consistent game time. If not we’re better off leaving him at WBA so he can continue to flourish

No brainer surely.

More short-term thinking by West Ham fans – he needs game-time, Antonio will be back by then and Holland might be used more, we’ll benefit far more if he stays out on loan for the rest of the season but most West Ham fans can’t think that far ahead

I hope we don’t, no need! Would stunt his development and would probably damage his morale, can tell he’s enjoying his football at the moment under bilic. Would be very selfish of us to recall him.
