West Ham put in a truly atrocious performance away at Leicester tonight.
There were plenty of horrendous displays all over the pitch for the Hammers.
One player in particular bore the brunt of the criticism from the West Ham fans, however – Manuel Lanzini.
The 26-year-old has been absolutely shocking in recent weeks, so it was a major surprise when David Moyes chose to start him yet AGAIN, ahead of the impressive Pablo Fornals.
It really was a mind-boggling decision from the Scot.
And the Hammers got everything they deserved. Lanzini was a mere passenger for the visitors at the King Power Stadium.
What has happened to him recently is an absolute mystery. And the way he has been playing, it would be no surprise to see him moved on sooner rather than later.
West Ham did at least improve in the second half against the Foxes, bit Lanzini was still largely anonymous.
And some Hammers fans took to Twitter, venting their absolute disgust at the South American’s tepid display…
