West Ham fans react to Felipe Anderson rumours

West Ham could be tempted to sell Felipe Anderson this summer, according to a report from Claret and Hugh, and some Hammers fans have reacted angrily in response to the speculation on Twitter.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport then reported yesterday that Napoli are interested in signing the Brazilian.

The 26-year-old West Ham ace has been in poor form this season.

Anderson made a decent start to life in England after moving to West Ham from Lazio for £42 million in the summer of 2018 (The Guardian). He racked up 10 goals and five assists in 40 appearances in his debut campaign for the Hammers (Transfermarkt).

The Brazilian’s form has dipped dramatically this season, however.

Anderson has chalked up just one goal and five assists in 24 games in all competitions for West Ham since August (Transfermarkt).

And Claret and Hugh claimed a couple of days ago that David Moyes could sell the Hammers winger this summer.

Surely it is too early to give up on the former Lazio man just yet?

Some West Ham fans certainly think so.
