West Ham’s U23 team maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a very respectable win over Valencia. The young Hammers beat Valencia 1-0 thanks to a goal from Nathan Holland.

And this has prompted a number of fans to plead with Manuel Pellegrini to give the youngster a first-team promotion. Holland’s form for the U23 team has been sensational and he deserves his shot in the first-team now.

West Ham took an early lead through Holland, who got himself in a good position and found the net. That was his second goal of the season and he has a handful of assists too.

Holland has been on Pellegrini’s radar for a while now and he was included in the pre-season trip to Switzerland. The 21-year-old often trains with the first-team and he has surely done enough to earn a chance.

Here are some West Ham fans pleading with Pellegrini to give him his opportunity.
