David Moyes’s side were outplayed in all fairness. We set up to defend and stifle Man United. That game-plan went out the window when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side went 1-0 up early on in the second-half, however.

The West Ham fans were fuming with the way that Moyes set up. It is what it is, however.

On another day we would have kept a clean sheet. And then everyone would have been raving about what a great point it was.

West Ham now have to beat Arsenal if we are to stay in the race for the top four.

Things could have been so different had we taken the game to Manchester United and left Old Trafford with something to show for our efforts.

On another day, Harry Maguire could have been penalised for grappling with Craig Dawson before the Hammers defender scored an own goal on Sunday.

At the very least, VAR should have had a look. Surely!

Some West Ham fans went crazy on Twitter as a photo emerged showing Craig Dawson getting pinned down by Harry Maguire in the build-up to the goal:

We can expect nothing less, however. Especially at Old Trafford. Big clubs getting the calls in their favour is the way of the world unfortunately.
