West Ham fans fume at Arthur Masuaku’s omission vs Tottenham

West Ham were beaten by Tottenham at the London Stadium today, with Arthur Masuaku once again missing from the match-day squad.

And Hammers fans were not happy.

The 26-year-old has now not been selected for the squad for West Ham’s last four games.

He hasn’t really done much wrong this season, so his recent omissions have been really baffling.

Especially with Pablo Zabaleta being selected ahead of him on the bench.

Masuaku offers the Hammers something completely different from an attacking perspective down the left hand side.

Aaron Cresswell is a decent defender but the Democratic Republic of Congo international brings far more dynamism to the West Ham setup.

Something must have happened behind the scenes. Masuaku has either upset Pellegrini, or the Chilean simply just doesn’t rate him.

It is not as if West Ham are flying and full of confidence without the former Olympiacos man.

And plenty of Hammers fans took to Twitter lamenting Pellegrini’s decision to omit Masuaku once again…
