According to a report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham will be looking to come to an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt aimed at settling whatever is owed for Sebastian Haller’s transfer fee. And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 25-year-old joined the Hammers from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019 for around £45 million (BBC).

He has really struggled to establish himself in east London, however. West Ham fans have criticised Haller for his questionable work-rate. And it is also fair to say that the Frenchman just doesn’t put himself about enough.

The Frenchman seems to be really struggling with the ferocious pace and intensity of the Premier League. And he has scored just seven goals in 29 games for the Hammers (Transfermarkt).
He has won an average of 7.6 aerial duals per game in 27 Premier League outings this season (Who Scored).
Judging by Haller’s first nine months in England, the £45 million that West Ham agreed to pay for the striker seems like somewhat of a waste of money.
Claret and Hugh claims that the Hammers are set to try and get the money owed on that fee down to a more reasonable amount, however.
