The statement from PAI was far from convincing.
Nasib Piriyev, the West Ham supporter behind PAI Capital’s takeover bid, made a whole host of contradictory statements.
One of them was when he suggested Upton Park was rarely ever sold out but two minutes later he suggested that he has never been there because he could never get a ticket.

The Hammers faithful are not an easy bunch to fool.
PAI’s statement/interview was so bad. Piriyev clearly isn’t a proper West Ham fan. He should have been trying to resonate with the Hammers fans and instead he alienated many of them by suggesting that PAI would be targeting a new breed of spectator at the London Stadium.
The interview was so poorly thought through in fact that some West Ham fans believe David Sullivan, David Gold and Karren Brady may have had a hand in it themselves!
Could it really be possible that PAI is the brainchild of GSB???

Some West Ham fans certainly seem to think so…
Perhaps the suggestions are a little far fetched. Perhaps they’re not though…we are West Ham after all! Nothing, and I mean nothing, would surprise me when it comes to our football club anymore.
