West Ham have a serious goalkeeper issue.

The Irons have not won a single match since Lukasz Fabianski suffered an injury against Bournemouth. His replacement, Roberto, has conceded 15 goals in his last six starts.

While some of this can be blamed on the leaky defence, Roberto has been the worst of the lot. The veteran Spaniard’s embarrassing form peaked when he punched the ball into his own net against Burnley.

With Roberto spreading his nervousness to the rest of the team, West Ham are reportedly pondering a change. According to Claret & Hugh, David Martin has a chance of starting against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Hammers face struggling Spurs after the break and the thought of having Roberto between the sticks is enough to induce nightmares. Martin was at Millwall last season and Roberto’s awful form could earn him a Premier League debut.

Fabianski is out until the new year and Nathan Trott cannot be recalled until January. Until then, Manuel Pellegrini needs to choose between Roberto and Martin. Here are some West Ham fans debating what should be done against Tottenham.
