Some West Ham fans have reacted on Twitter after Fabian Balbuena had the red card that he received against Chelsea on Saturday rescinded.

The Paraguayan centre-back was dismayed by Chris Kavanagh with over 10 minutes still left to play at the London Stadium against the Blues on Saturday evening.
Balbuena attempted to clear the ball up field and caught Ben Chilwell on his follow through.
VAR flagged the incident as a potentially dangerous one.

Chris Kavanagh checked the monitors and subsequently gave the 29-year-old his marching orders.
The decision was a quite frankly ridiculous one. It was ludicrous, farcical and devoid of any common sense.
The red card given to Fabian Balbuena has now been rescinded after appeal, however.

The problem is that West Ham won’t get a chance to play the final 10-15 minutes again with 11 men.
David Moyes was fuming that his team were punished at the time. Balbuena’s sending off completely took the sting out of the game and we consequently lost momentum.

The fact that the decision to send the Paraguayan off has now been overturned matters little to the Hammers.
We were unduly punished in the game against Chelsea and nothing will be done to change that.
