According to a report from the Sun, West Ham are leading the race to sign £40 million rated Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi. And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

David Moyes will undoubtedly be keen to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
Sebastien Haller needs more support. And Albian Ajeti has desperately failed to impress.
And the Sun claims West Ham are keen to prise Batshuayi away from Chelsea. Frank Lampard is allegedly willing to let the Belgium international leave, but he could demand up to £40 million for the striker.
In truth, that price-tag is quite ridiculous. Especially when you take into account the current financial climate caused by the global health crisis.

Batshuayi has racked up just 25 goals and six assists in 77 games for the Blues (Transfermarkt).
At the same time, however, it could actually be argued that the 26-year-old hasn’t been given enough chances to prove his worth.
The Belgian might be a decent signing for West Ham. But not for the £40 million that has been quoted by the Sun.
