West Ham United co-owner David Gold has again put his head above the parapet with a real statement about David Moyes on Twitter.
West Ham star thanks respected journalist Henry Winter for praise
Everything is rosy on the pitch for West Ham at the moment.
David Moyes appears to really be getting some momentum and West Ham have navigated a horrendous run of fixtures superbly well.
The Hammers may be 12th in the fledgling table. But they have a much kinder fixture list – on paper at least – over the next few months.

West Ham in great position for a successful season
And a couple of wins will push West Ham right into the leading pack at the top of the Premier League.
West Ham’s performances and results of late have left the club in a positive position a real chance of enjoying a successful season in what is promising to be the most wide open campaign since 2015/16.
In fact West Ham are looking as good as they have done since that season.
But the side’s good form, the excellent signing of Vladimir Coufal and exciting capture of Said Benrahma have done little to change the sentiment towards the club’s owners Gold and Sullivan and their vice-chairman Karren Brady.
A growing number of West Ham fans have been campaigning for the trio to sell up and leave.
The campaign GSBOUT (Gold, Sullivan, Brady Out) has often trended on social media. Indeed one of the mottos of the GSBOUT movement is ‘Support the team, not the regime’.

Speculation has been rife about the future of Moyes.
The Telegraph claim West Ham’s players want the Scot to be handed a long-term deal. And insiders Claret & Hugh report that a new deal is in the offing in the new year.
So it spoke volumes when Gold spoke up for Moyes on Twitter this week, running a gauntlet of abuse to do so.
“Good to see this quoted in The Times today: “West Ham United were one of the most improved teams post lockdown”, Gold said on Twitter.
“A great effort is being made by David Moyes and his team.
“COYI. DG.”

The comment suggests the board are very much in favour of keeping Moyes long term.
But Gold may have needed his tin hat given the deluge of criticism that came his way in response to the post.
Here are a selection of replies to the post from West Ham fans.
