West Ham boss David Moyes has suggested that he would not be surprised if Aaron Cresswell gets called up for the England national team, as quoted by WHUFC.com.

The 30-year-old has been in superb form for the Hammers this season.
It has been quite the turnaround for Cresswell. He experienced a really difficult 2019/20 campaign and many West Ham fans wanted him gone.
The Liverpool-born Hammer has really surprised a lot of people this term, however.

Moyes deserves great credit for dropping Cresswell back into central defence.
The former Ipswich Town man has been in sensational form as a left-sided centre-back. He has not only looked rock solid defensively, but he has also racked up three assists in nine Premier League games so far.
Moyes has been mightily impressed with Cresswell and told WHUFC.com that it would not surprise him at all if the West Ham ace received a call-up to the England squad:

“Aaron Cresswell has been excellent for us. He’s getting to the age of maturity where he’s understanding the game better and his reading of it, and he’s playing very well. Because he can play a couple of roles and he’s left-sided, it wouldn’t be a surprise to me if Gareth Southgate called him up for England. If he keeps up the form he’s in, he’ll certainly be getting watched – I have no doubt about that.”
Cresswell has been a fantastic servant for West Ham. Ther 30-year-old has played 222 games for the east London outfit.
And it has been a real pleasure to witness his resurgence this season.
Long may it continue. If it does, England boss Gareth Southgate may well come knocking, just like Moyes has predicted.
