'Wembley dream over': West Ham fans panic after drawing Gillingham in the FA Cup

West Ham will face Gillingham away from home in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

The Hammers enter the competition, alongside the other Premier League and Championship clubs, at the Third Round stage. Gillingham have already played twice and they have now earned the right to face West Ham.

Gillingham beat Sunderland in extra-time in the First Round replay before thrashing Doncaster Rovers 3-0 at the weekend. The League One club will now host Premier League opposition and West Ham fans think they will lose.

West Ham have an embarrassing record against lower-league clubs under Manuel Pellegrini. The Hammers boss insists on rotating his squad for these games and the fringe players can never match the desire of the Football League sides.

Last season, AFC Wimbledon humiliated West Ham with a 4-2 win (going 3-0 up at one point). Then, this season in the EFL Cup, League One side Oxford United rattled in four second-half goals past Roberto to claim a 4-0 win.

West Ham fans fear that Roberto will be back in goal and that Gillingham will be the next club to embarrass the Irons. Here are some tweets about the draw.
