West Ham had a very disappointing Saturday – losing 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace and missing the chance to go third. But loanee Grady Diangana enjoyed a more successful day.
The 21-year-old – who is on loan at West Bromwich Albion – starred yet again for Slaven Bilic’s men. In the Championship clash between West Brom and Cardiff City, Diangana scored one and assisted another to set his side on their way to a 3-2 win.
Diangana’s goal was an impressive long-range effort. The left-footed attacking midfielder fired from outside of the box and his powerful effort went beyond Alex Smithies into the bottom corner.
Grady Diangana gets ready for the Irons
The Hammers midfielder now has four goals and three assists in just nine games for the Baggies. It has been a fruitful loan spell so far and it is preparing him well for a return to The London Stadium.
Diangana is currently on a season-long loan spell and he is getting valuable game time under his belt. This will put him in a strong position when he comes back next summer. Here are some tweets from West Ham fans reacting as Diangana scored again.
Grady Diangana again! Fabulous loan move! We will get back a far better player, full of confidence!

I want him to stay, but we could do with him. Maybe he could teach Anderson how to play like a wide man. Take on your fullback for once you mug!!

What a player we have in Grady Diangana! Sending him out on loan was the best thing for him as he’s gaining confidence. Will be great competition for Antonio & Yarmolenko. ⚒️ #COYI pic.twitter.com/0RdUh8Yu2B
