Trevoh Chalobah forced to delete Declan Rice tweet after backlash

Trevoh Chalobah was forced to delete a tweet that he posted about West Ham ace Declan Rice after receiving a backlash from some Chelsea fans.

The 22-year-old was quite simply brilliant for the Hammers during out 4-1 over Leicester City on Monday night.

Dec took to Twitter to post the following tweet:

Chelsea youngster Chalobah, who grew up with Rice in the Chelsea youth team, posted the below tweet in response before subsequently deleting it after Chelsea fans reacted angrily:


The Chelsea fans were angry because West Ham leapfrogged their side in the Premier League table after Monday’s win over the Foxes.

It seems as though the Hammers are ruffling some feathers amongst the Premier League elite doesn’t it!

We’re not stupid. We know it probably won’t last. But we’re going to enjoy being top of the league why while we can.

A win against Crystal Palace by a decent margin will all but guarantee our place at the top of the table for the first international break of the season.

What a time this is to be a West Ham fan. We have had a lot to deal with in our lifetimes with little success to show for it.

We should be milking this, and rightly so.
