The 19-year-old has played a pivotal role in helping the Hammers pick up three consecutive wins in the past week.
An away victory at Newcastle United was followed up by a home double against Cardiff City then Crystal Palace.
And Rice’s solidity in holding midfield and ability to move the ball forward was a major factor in delivering the win.
