West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has praised Adrian on Instagram. Following Adrian’s impressive performance between the sticks for new club Liverpool, his former team-mate Fabianski took to social media to congratulate him.
Liverpool lost 2-0 against Napoli in the first game of the Champions League. But Adrian has been hailed by Liverpool fans for one special moment. He produced a stunning save to deny Dries Mertens from close-range.

The Spaniard moved quickly across his goalline and showed incredible reactions to reach Mertens’ volley. It looked destined for the net but Adrian had other ideas. He is slowly but surely making himself a household name at Liverpool.
Lukasz Fabianski praises “that save”
Adrian left West Ham in the summer on a free transfer. He decided to pursue his career elsewhere after falling behind Fabianski in the pecking order. But the pair clearly have a good relationship.
Fabianski left a comment on Adrian’s Instagram page after the game. He simply said “that save”, accompanied by a flame emoji. This showed the respect between the two despite Fabianski taking Adrian’s place at West Ham.

Adrian is enjoying his time at Liverpool after Alisson Becker suffered an injury. He is playing every week until the Brazilian is back and performing well. And this has been acknowledged by his ex-colleague Fabianski – who won the Hammer of the Year award last season.
