Ray Parlour absolutely ripped into West Ham flop Roberto, when speaking on talkSPORT this morning.
The 33-year-old has proven to be an absolute liability since joining the Hammers in the summer.
He is clearly nowhere near good enough for a team like West Ham, and the fact that he has played regularly in the Premier League is beyond laughable.
Football Insider have claimed that the Hammers are already prepared to sell the Spaniard. And West Ham fans will be delighted to hear that news.
And Parlour did not hold back in his criticism of Roberto, when speaking to talkSPORT this morning (December 4th, 06:12am):
“I said that three or four games ago West Ham have got to change their goalkeeper. He’s not good enough, he really isn’t. I saw the Spurs game, where he conceded a couple of really poor goals – the first one, with Son, where it went across him. So they’ve changed it, and it was great to see Alvin Martin’s son come in.”
The sooner that West Ham get rid of Roberto the better for everyone involved with the club.
There surely will not be anyone who wants to pay a fee for the Spanish flop. So the Hammers could either terminate his contract, paying him the remainder of what he is owed, or simply let his current deal run down.
Whatever happens, however, he must never ever play for West Ham again.
