West Ham United are interested in Atlanta midfielder Miguel Almiron according to reports.
According to TyC Sports in Argentina, MLS star may be signing for West Ham in January.
Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is nursing a Premier League-worst injury list.
He has lost midfielders Andriy Yarmolenko and Carlos Sanchez for the season. And Jack Wilshere has rather predictably spent most of the season out through injury so far.
Pellegrini has already said he will be looking for reinforcements in January.
Samir Nasri is training with the club with a view to signing if he can prove his fitness.

West Ham fans will love expert’s verdict on January target
The East Londoners need more creativity and Almiron fits the bill perfectly according to South American football expert Tim Vickery.
Vickery, a freelance English football journalist who has lived in Brazil since 1994, is the South American football correspondent for outlets such as BBC Sport, ESPN and talkSPORT.
Speaking on talkSPORT this week he was asked to run the rule over West Ham’s interest in the 24-year-old Paraguayan.
And West Ham fans will be excited by what he had to say.

‘He was the best player in Argentina’
“He’s an attacking midfielder, made his name in Argentina (in fact) he was the best player in Argentina,” told talkSPORT.
“Then he made the unorthodox move of going up to MLS in the United States where he’s being starring for Atlanta United. He’s a quick, left-footed attacking midfielder who just needs a little bit more calm perhaps in the final third but I love (him).
“I mean the combination of pace and a left-foot (is rare), I think he’s really, really talented.
“The Premier League would take away some of his acceleration space away but I think he’s good enough to rise to the challenge (at West Ham).”

Taking MLS by storm next stop West Ham?
Almiron started out with Cerro Porteno in his native Paraguay before heading to Argentina with Lanus.
His superb form attracted interest from Europe and the USA and he made a somewhat surprise move to Atlanta United.
Almiron has taken MLS by storm hitting 12 goals and 13 assists in 2018.
According to reports Atlanta have already resigned themselves to losing Almiron to a Premier League club in January.
Now he seems set for West Ham where he will team up with international teammate Fabian Balbuena.
