Some West Ham United fans have hit out after pictures emerged of striker Javier Hernandez on a private jet to Italy.
Manuel Pellegrini revealed Hernandez would likely miss the game against Leicester City this weekend with an ‘ear problem’ (whufc.com).
It is not clear why the club’s highest ever earner has made the trip or for how long.

Hernandez ‘pictured’ jetting off to Italy
But some fans believe he should be doing everything to make himself available to play or at least stick around to support his teammates rather than jetting off to Italy.
A tweet from West Ham fan Anthony Hufton contained two pictures allegedly showing Hernandez on a private jet to Italy despite suffering with an ear problem.
“I’m sorry but Chicha has a bad ear so he’s off on a private jet to Italy? (Photos from one hour ago),” he said.

Hammers fans make their feelings clear
And the Hammers fan was not alone in feeling let down judging by the reaction on Twitter as West Ham fans made their opinions clear.

Final straw for fed up fans?
It comes after the ineffectual forward once again showed disrespect for his manager and teammates with a public display of arrogance when he was substituted against Manchester United last time out.
Shaking his head and hitting out at Pellegrini as he left the field, moaning to his teammates on the bench, it was typical of Hernandez’s over-inflated opinion of himself.
The fact he showed plenty of respect to his old fans as he left the pitch and on social media only served to anger fans further still.
Fans have grown tired of the striker’s little tantrums.
Mark Noble even revealed he had to speak to Hernandez about his poor attitude (Evening Standard).
