West Ham winger Robert Snodgrass has demanded the new signings “learn quick” after a painful opening day to the season.
The Hammers succumbed to a dreadful 4-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. However, the performance was what was angered many West Ham supporters.

As they were over-run, many fans couldn’t understand why it was so easy to cut through Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
Snodgrass is also a new face back in the squad after spending last season on loan at Aston Villa. The Scottish international knows the difficulties of the Premier League, and has warned that the new players must get up to speed quickly.
Speaking to the official club website, Snodgrass said the following:
We’ve made some signings this year so we need to learn quick, learn fast, and get back on the training ground to make things right and get ready to go again. It’s the Premier League and there’s a fast tempo, and Liverpool are probably one of the best teams in the league. It’s the Premier League and we have to get up to speed – there is no hiding place. We can play a lot better than that and the only way we can do that is to get back on the training ground, talk to each other and help the new lads.
Out of the nine new signings Pellegrini made, five started at Anfield. Ryan Fredericks, Fabian Balbuena, Lukasz Fabianski, Felipe Anderson, and Jack Wilshere all made their Premier League bows for the Hammers.

Pellegrini is likely to make strong changes to the starting line-up ahead of the visit of Bournemouth on Saturday. The Chilean is still trying to find his strongest team, and will have learned a lot from the Liverpool defeat.
Andriy Yarmolenko, Issa Diop, Carlos Sanchez, and Lucas Perez have all to make their first competitive starts for the club.
