West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has named his team to face Everton today.
In the 4pm kick-off on Sunday, West Ham play Everton at Goodison Park, hoping to pick up their first points of the season.
Ahead of the game, Pellegrini has named the following side.
Unsurprisingly, Lukasz Fabianski remains in goal. The Poland international has been a rare bright spark for the Hammers this season.
There are changes at full-back. Pablo Zabaleta has been reinstated in the team, replacing Ryan Fredericks. Arthur Masuaku has replaced Aaron Cresswell at left-back after returning from injury.
In the heart of defence, new signings Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena will look to keep the Everton strikers at bay.
In a completely new look central midfield, Pedro Obiang, Mark Noble and Declan Rice will line up together.
Felipe Anderson will play out wide, while Andriy Yarmolenko is handed his first league start on the other wing.
Marko Arnautovic keeps his place in the side, as expected. With Javier Hernandez out with illness, West Ham fans will be hoping Arnautovic can add to his two goals in four games this season.
West Ham have a few impact options from the bench. Robert Snodgrass, Michail Antonio and Lucas Perez can add some attacking impetus as a substitute.
Carlos Sanchez offers a different option in central midfield.
If there are injuries at the back, Pellegrini has goalkeeper Adrian or defenders Aaron Cresswell and Angelo Ogbonna to call upon.
Here are how some West Ham fans reacted on Twitter to this team news.
Harsh to drop sanchez. Apart from the mistake he did well

Fredericks don’t deserve to be left out

Not sure about Obiang and Noble in midfield however Sanchez had to be dropped after his terrible mistake against Wolves.

Midfield is going to cost us yet again. Too slow, unimaginative and lazy.

Good starting XI just hope the performance is as good

Masuaku incompetence incoming, him and noble shouldn’t be near the team
