West Ham striker Sebastien Haller raved about Grady Diangana when speaking to the club’s official website yesterday, suggesting that the 22-year-old winger could help bring out the best in him.

The 26-year-old arrived at the London Stadium from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer for around £45 million (BBC).
Haller struggled to establish himself last season, however, scoring just seven goals in 34 games in all competitions for the Hammers (Transfermarkt).
It could be argued that he wasn’t given enough support or service, however.
And the Frenchman bagged a hat-trick in a pre-season friendly against Ipswich Town yesterday. Haller seemed to be more involved throughout the game, and Grady Diangana’s presence down the left hand side made a huge difference for him.
The 26-year-old spoke to WHUFC.com after the game, and suggested that the 22-year-old winger may be able to get the best out of him this season:
“It’s nice for us to have a kind of player like Grady. Everyone knows the quality he has and then he went on loan to West Brom and everyone knows he performed pretty well. We are all happy to have him here and we are going to try to use his quality and strength, me most of all. Hopefully he will be giving me even more assists in the future!”
Diangana was in sensational form whilst on loan with West Brom in the Championship last season. He was undoubtedly one of the standout players in the division.
The 22-year-old undoubtedly seems like he is ready to take the step up to the next level this season.
And the thought of a front four of Grady, Haller, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen should be a very exciting one for West Ham fans.
Let’s hope that Haller is correct and Diangana brings the best out in the Frenchman this term.
