Sebastien Haller has become the fourth player to score three goals in his first three Premier League games for West Ham. The Premier League’s official Twitter account revealed this statistic after his goal against Norwich City.
Haller opened the scoring for the Hammers in the 2-0 win over Norwich at The London Stadium. The Frenchman slid in to tap in Arthur Masuaku’s low cross. This was his third goal for West Ham.
After failing to score in the season opener against Manchester City, Haller missed the trip to Brighton through injury. He returned to the starting line-up at Watford the following week, scoring twice as West Ham won 3-1.
Sebastien Haller joins exclusive club

There are only three other West Ham players who scored three times in their first three Premier League matches for the club. Haller becomes the fourth and he is in good company.
Trevor Sinclair was the first player to achieve this feat. The England midfielder signed from Queens Park Rangers in January 1998 and scored a handful of goals early in his West Ham career.
Six months later, he was joined by Ian Wright. The ex-Arsenal striker scored against Sheffield Wednesday on his debut and got three in his first three. He scored nine goals in his one season at West Ham.
Demba Ba was the last striker to score three in his first three as a West Ham player. The Senegal striker joined in January 2011 and scored seven goals before the end of the season. However, he left when West Ham were relegated that summer.
