West Ham travel to Bramall Lane to take on the Premier League’s bottom club.

In previous seasons West Ham fans would be fearing the worst.

West Ham no longer the gift that’s always giving under Moyes

Some West Ham fans fear that could be the case against Chris Wilder’s team.

But there is something different about David Moyes’s West Ham.

Under the Scot West Ham have looked organised, disciplined, hungry, energetic, hard-working and surprisingly balanced.

Moyes is known for instilling discipline in his teams.

He has been accused of preferring the functional over thrills down the years.

But his latest signing Said Benrahma is injecting the fun factor back into West Ham. On and off the pitch it seems.

Benrahma goes blonde as new boy injects a bit of personality back into Hammers

West Ham have missed a certain je ne sais quoi ever since the mercuriel Dimitri Payet departed nearly four years ago.

There were signs against Fulham Benrahma has that magic touch. That fearless ability to try things, to take people on in tight spaces and make things happen.

He is an entertainer. And once he is given his head by Moyes West Ham will undoubtedly have a new hero.

Benrahma has showed his extrovert personality off the pitch too this week.

The 26-year-old returned from international duty with Algeria rocking blonde hair.

He has done it in the past when playing for Brentford.

And West Ham’s media team posted a picture of the playmaker on Twitter sporting his new look saying: ‘Iced out’.

Hammers have been missing fun factor since Payet departure

It’s great to see a bit of character and personality injected into Moyes’s side.

As serious as football is at the top end of the game, young fans will be enthralled by the likes of Benrahma and his skills and hairstyles.

Fans loved the picture. But as ever West Ham fans are famous for their wit and didn’t disappoint.

One quipped that West Ham have already turned Benrahma grey.

West Ham’s new Blondie is no doubt saying to Moyes ‘Call Me’.

Let’s hope the Hammers boss doesn’t leave him ‘Hanging on the Telephone’.

With his talent, Benrahma will soon have West Ham fans ‘Dreaming’ ‘One Way of Another’.
