The 26-year-old arrived at the London Stadium from Brentford last summer.
He had to wait until the end of the season before he played in front of fans, however.
Sunday’s clash with Newcastle was the first time Benrahma played for West Ham in front of a stadium filled to capacity.

And the Algerian clearly relished the occasion. The former Brentford man was cheered on for the entire match by the 3,000 Hammers fans who travelled up to St James’ Park.
Said Benrahma impressed by the West Ham fans
The Hammers faithful are well-renowned for being some of the best in the business, if not the best.
And Benny told WHUFC.com what he thought of the travelling claret and blue army on Sunday:

“The crowd was there and they were unreal. Honestly, I was really impressed. I’m so happy that the supporters could come, I’ve been waiting for that and it was great. When the fans are there it’s different, it pushes you on. Your adrenaline is boosted when the fans are there. It’s just amazing.”
Monday’s clash against Leicester will be the first time Benrahma has played in front of a full London Stadium.
We reckon that he will produce the goods yet again. The 26-year-old seems like a player who thrives on the big occasion and having 60,000 odd fans screaming and shouting will bring the best out of the talented winger.
