The Hammers have really impressed this season.

We are currently flying high in fourth spot in the Premier League table with only seven games remaining this season.

David Moyes deserves huge credit for the job he has done at the London Stadium.

Jesse Lingard, Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek have undoubtedly been West Ham’s best players alongside Angelo Ogbonna and Vladimir Coufal.

Rice and Soucek have forged a wonderful partnership in the middle of the park at the London Stadium.

And since Lingard joined West Ham on loan, we have reached an entirely new level.

Troy Deeney raves about West Ham trio

The two England internationals and the Czech Republic ace are so vitally important to the Hammers.

Troy Deeney raved about the West Ham players’ energy levels, when speaking to talkSPORT yesterday:

“For me, it was a big decision for him to leave (in January). He could have easily sat there and taken his money then waited for the storm to blow over. He’s taken the impetus to go out and get it and say ‘look, this is what I am going to do’. I think certain teams suit him, the way he can get box-to-box. Declan Rice sitting in there and Soucek. The energy they have as a three is ridiculous. He’s scoring and doing well, but for me, he goes (to the Euros). And he has really put the fire up, with your Maddison’s, your Mount’s even Grealish to an extent now that he’s not playing. He is saying ‘look, I am here and I am back’.”

Rice is currently out injured for West Ham.

Getting him back and available for selection will be vital to our hopes of finishing inside the top four this season.

Lingard and Soucek will have to maintain their fine form during Rice’s absence if we are to have any chance whatsoever of securing Champions League football.

Whatever happens this season, however, the West Ham fans can be safe in the knowledge that the future is bright.
