West Ham are considering a move for Bournemouth striker Josh King this summer, according to a report from the Mirror (August 21st, page 59).

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to add a new striker to his ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
Albian Ajeti has left for Celtic and Sebastien Haller needs more quality support and competition.
Moyes has minimal funds to play with, however. So the Scot must sell before he can recruit anyone.
The Mirror reckon that West Ham want Cherries hitman Josh King.
The Sun reported earlier this month that Bournemouth won’t sell the 28-year-old for anything less than £25 million, however. So a move to West Ham for the Norway international seems unlikely to say the least.
Stats
King racked up six goals and four assists in 26 Premier League games last season (Who Scored).
In those outings, the 28-year-old averaged one shot, 1.2 key passes and two dribbles per game. He also won an average of 2.3 aerial duals per game (Who Scored).
King would undoubtedly be a decent addition for the Hammers. But £25 million is quite simply too much money for the Norwegian.
If West Ham could snap him up for around £10 million it would be a different story.
But as things stand, the Hammers signing the Bournemouth front-man seems highly unlikely.
