West Ham United are reportedly one of the most attractive options for Torino striker Andrea Belotti in the summer transfer window.

That’s according a report from Torino Granata who claim that the 28-year-old is set to leave the Turin club on a free transfer at the end of this season.

The Hammers’ need for a new centre-forward has been well-documented since we sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax way back in January 2021.

Michail Antonio is the only centre-forward option that David Moyes currently has at his disposal at the London Stadium and he has been for nearly 18 months now!

That clearly isn’t acceptable for a club with supposed ambitions of challenging for honours both domestically and on the continent.

Moyes absolutely has to address that in the summer by signing at least one striker. And it seems as though that’s exactly what he could do…

West Ham one of most attractive summer transfer window options for Andrea Belotti

The Italian forward is allegedly attracted by the idea of joining the Hammers. The main problem we will face though is that Newcastle are also in the mix for his signature.

Signing him on a free transfer this summer seems like a no-brainer for West Ham.

The Torino striker has a proven track record of scoring goals at the very highest level for a sustained period of time.

The 41-capped Italy international has bagged 155 goals in 385 career games at club level (Transfermarkt).

Belotti is an incredibly hard-working forward. He possesses superb movement and is always a real handful for opposing defenders. The Torino ace certainly knows where the back of the net is as well.

The Italian is an old school centre-forward din every sense and he would provide Moyes with a completely different option through the middle.

Absolute no-brainer for the Hammers

Belotti, who earns £64k-a-week according to Salary Sport, would be a superb signing for West Ham on a free transfer.

Bringing the 28-year-old in for absolutely nothing would also enable Moyes to keep his powder dry for a marquee striker signing.

The Scot really shouldn’t think twice about bringing Andrea Belotti to West Ham in the summer transfer window.
