West Ham are keen to sign Real Betis full-back Alex Moreno, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Grada 3.
The Hammers will surely be keen to sign a new left-back in the summer.
Aaron Cresswell seems to be well past his best. The 30-year-old has lost his pace since returning from injury. And Arthur Masuaku has failed to impress since moving to the London Stadium in the summer of 2016.
And Spanish publication Grada 3 reckon that West Ham could make a move for Real Betis left-back Alex Moreno in the summer.
Stats
The 26-year-old has racked up four assists in 23 La Liga appearances for Betis this season (Transfermarkt).
In those 23 outings, Moreno has averaged 1.4 tackles, 0.7 interceptions and 1.6 clearances per game (Who Scored).
He is clearly an attacking full-back, with four assists to his name. He also averages 1.6 dribbles per game (Who Scored), highlighting his penchant for taking on opposing defenders.
The modern day full-back is expected to contribute just as much in the final third as he is defensively.
And Moreno certainly fits into that category.
The 26-year-old joined Betis last summer for around €7 million (£6.4 million), according to Grada 3, so West Ham will surely have to offer the La Liga club a lot more than that, if they want to prise him away from the Benito Villamarin Stadium at the end of this season.
