According to a report from the Sun, alleged West Ham target Tiemoue Bakayoko is now available for just £20 million. That’s a whole £15 million cheaper than Chelsea were reportedly prepared to sell him for just two months ago.

Le 10 Sport claimed back in June that the Hammers want to sign the 25-year-old Blues owned midfielder.

And the Sun now suggests that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is willing to let the Frenchman leave Stamford Bridge for just £20 million this summer.

AC Milan are allegedly leading the race to sign the powerful box-to-box midfielder, however.

Bakayoko joined the Blues from Monaco in the summer of 2017 for around £40 million (BBC).

He really struggled to establish himself at Stamford Bridge, however.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with Monaco, having spent the previous campaign on loan with AC Milan.

Stats

In 20 league outings for the French side this season, Bakayoko has racked up one goal and two assists (Who Scored).

In those appearances, the Chelsea-owned ace has averaged 2.4 tackles, 1.5 interceptions, 0.9 clearances and 1.3 dribbles (Who Scored).

Bakayoko would undoubtedly be a decent addition for West Ham. But David Moyes has already brought Tomas Soucek to the London Stadium on a permanent deal.

And the Hammers should really be prioritising other areas in more urgent need of attention this summer.
