The Hammers will surely be looking to bolster their right-back and centre-back departments this summer.

Pablo Zabaleta and Jeremy Ngakia are both set to leave the London Stadium. Ryan Fredericks, meanwhile, has failed to impress since joining the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.

Centre-back is also a potential problem position for West Ham.

Angelo Ogbonna has recently turned 32, whilst Winston Reid and Issa Diop have been linked with moves away from east London. Fabian Balbuena has also experienced real problems this season.

And the Mirror (June 10th, page 47) claims that the Hammers could turn to Forest duo Cash and Worrall in order to solve those issues.

Good signings?

In 36 Championship outings for Forest this season, Cash has racked up three goals and four assists (Who Scored).

In those appearances, the 22-year-old has averaged 2.8 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 2.8 clearances per game (Who Scored).

Cash could be available for just £18 million this summer, according to the Sun.

Worrall meanwhile, has racked up one goal and three assists in 37 Championship outings for Forest so far this season (Who Scored).

In those appearances, he has averaged 0.7 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 5.1 clearances and 1.3 blocks per game (Who Scored).

The 23-year-old Englishman has also won an average of 3.3 aerial duals per game during those outings (Who Scored).

Worrall could be available for the same amount as his Forest teammate this summer – £18 million (Football Insider).

On the face of it, Cash and Worrall would be very good signings for West Ham. And the east London outfit would surely be able to pick the duo up for cheaper than their reported valuations, due to the financial ramifications caused by the global health crisis.

The Forest duo are young, highly talented and they both fit the profile of player Moyes wants to bring to the London Stadium.

And Cash and Worrall would undoubtedly be very welcome additions at West Ham this summer.
