According to a report from Football Insider, West Ham ace Arthur Masuaku has held showdown talks with Manuel Pellegrini with regards to his lack of game-time recently.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international joined the Hammers from Olympiacos in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth £6 million according to Sky Sports.
The 26-year-old’s time at West Ham has been undermined by inconsistency, however.
Masuaku has impressed with his attacking flair, but the jury is still out on his defending.
The left-back hasn’t played for the Hammers since their 2-0 defeat to Everton in mid October.
And according to Football Insider, Masuaku has held showdown talks with Pellegrini having not been selected for West Ham’s last three games.
Aaron Cresswell has been playing ahead of the former Olympiacos man recently.
And Masuaku will have to work hard to get his place back.
On his day, he can be a real asset for the Hammers. He must show more consistency, however, if he is to be selected by Pellegrini on a regular basis.
