Burnley manager Sean Dyche is reportedly interested in the West Ham job.

Manuel Pellegrini is under increasing pressure at West Ham after losing at home to rivals Tottenham Hotspur. West Ham are thinking about potential replacements and Dyche would like the opportunity to talk with West Ham, according to The Guardian.

Dyche has been at Burnley since 2012, winning promotion twice. He has also turned Burnley into a well-drilled and industrious side who even reached the Europa League last season.

With a 37.8 per cent win record in over 300 games, Dyche is a highly-rated manager. The Englishman, who formerly played for bitter rivals Millwall, is renowned for his no-nonsense style of play.

The 48-year-old now reportedly wants to talk with West Ham about the potential vacancy at The London Stadium. Dyche would be interested to enter discussions and he would probably be given a larger budget than he has worked with at Burnley.

There are other options for West Ham. This report adds that the club will consider Rafa Benitez (Dalian Yifang), Eddie Howe (Bournemouth) and Chris Hughton (without a club). It looks like Pellegrini could be on the way out and Dyche will put himself up for contention.

Dyche might not play the most fanciful football but he will surely improve West Ham. If he is interested, this could be the managerial appointment that the board pursues.
