According to a report from the Athletic, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has shown an interest in signing West Ham attacker Michail Antonio recently.
In other news…’Clueless wreck’: Some West Ham fans genuinely baffled by what Moyes reportedly thinks
Antonio has been a huge success at West Ham. He is a hugely popular player amongst the fans and is undoubtedly a really key player for David Moyes.
And it seems as though he has been impressing outside of east London as well.
The Athletic claims that Wolves have been sniffing around Antonio.
It is easy to see why. The Black Country outfit are a big, powerful and dynamic side, and the 30-year-old Hammers ace would fit in perfectly at Molineux.
Nuno Espirito Santo loves a player likes Antonio. And it would be no surprise if Wolves made a concrete offer for him this summer.
In 19 Premier League outings this season, the 30-year-old attacker has racked up four goals and three assists (Who Scored).
During those appearances, the former Forest ace has averaged 2.5 shots, 0.9 key passes and 2.5 dribbles per match. He has also won an impressive four aerial duals on average per game during those outings (Who Scored).
His game is so much more than those statistics, however. The pacy forward is a constant menace to opposing defenders. He continually puts himself about and always gives 100 per cent.
Antonio has just one year remaining on his current deal with West Ham. David Moyes will surely want to keep him at the London Stadium, however.
In order to do that though, the Hammers must tie the powerful 30-year-old down to a new contract, or they will risk losing him for nothing next summer.
