Arthur Masuaku allegedly could be set for premature return to West Ham United from his loan spell with Besiktas.

That’s according to a report from Sabah who claim Besiktas want to cut their season-long loan agreement for Masuaku short, and send him back to the London Stadium.

That doesn’t surprise me one little bit in all fairness, as harsh as that may come across.

If Besiktas truly do want to return Masuaku to West Ham, it will come as a big blow to the player himself.

The 29-year-old allegedly told the Turkish side that he wanted to join them permanently at the end of this season.

It seemed as though we would never have to suffer watching Masuaku in a West Ham shirt again not too long ago. That appears to have all changed now though…

Arthur Masuaku set for premature West Ham return

Sabah claim that Besiktas are trying to break their season-long loan agreement for the Hammers owned left-back.

It is alleged that the Turkish giants want to send him back to East London.

If that does actually happen, David Moyes should try to ship him back out as soon as possible, even if it means releasing him for nothing and paying up the remainder of his current contract.

Masuaku has proven to be a terrible signing for West Ham. He is clearly not good enough to be playing Premier League football.

The left-back’s poor concentration levels and shocking positional awareness have cost the Hammers on numerous occasions over the years.

The sooner that we get rid of him on a permanent basis the better in my opinion.

Besiktas at one point seemed to be our savour. However, according to the latest round of reports, that’s no longer the case.

West Ham boss David Moyes will most likely have to start putting the feelers out that Arthur Masuaku could be available for transfer again in the January window.
