According to a report from Football.London, David Moyes is a huge fan of West Ham winger Grady Diangana, and the Scot sees him as a big part of the club’s future.
The 22-year-old winger spent last season on loan with West Brom. And his impressive campaign led to interest in his signature from the Baggies, as well as Celtic and Rangers (The Herald).
Diangana played a key role in Slaven Bilic’s side gaining promotion last season. The West Ham owned attacker racked up eight goals and seven assists in 30 Championship outings for West Brom (Transfermarkt).
And it was clear to see why the former Hammers boss rates the 22-year-old so much. Diangana was a stand-out performer in the Championship.
And the West Ham fans will be buzzing to see him back in action at the London Stadium next season.
Hammers need to keep Grady at all costs
Claret and Hugh claimed last month that the winger could be sold for just £20 million this summer, however.
Football.London suggest that Diangana is a vital part of David Moyes’ plans at West Ham. The Scot is allegedly a big fan of the young winger and sees him as a vital part of the Hammers’ future.
Keeping the 22-year-old at the London Stadium will be key for West Ham and Moyes.
He clearly has so much talent, and allowing him to leave for £20 million could end up proving to be a massive mistake.
Let’s just hope Football.London’s report is correct, however, and Diangana will be staying in east London for the long-term.
