According to a report from Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport (August 15th, page 16), Felipe Anderson could be on his way out of West Ham soon, with a dream return to Lazio on the cards for the Brazilian.

The 27-year-old Brazilian joined the Hammers from Lazio in the summer of 2018 for around £42 million (Football.London).

Anderson really impressed during his debut campaign at the London Stadium. He certainly lived up to his hefty price-tag.

But things went south rather dramatically last season for the former Lazio man.

Anderson racked up just one goal and four assists in 25 Premier League games for West Ham last term (Transfermarkt).

Brazilian heading for exit door?

And Football.London claimed last week that Hammers boss David Moyes is prepared to sell the Brazilian winger this summer for around £30 million.

And Corriere dello Sport (August 15th, page 16) have now claimed that Anderson could be on his way out of the club, with the player dreaming of a return to Lazio.

It is suggested that the 27-year-old would not be unwelcome back at Lazio. But the Serie A outfit currently do not have the money to make it happen.

If West Ham could sell Anderson for in excess of £25 million, it would be decent business for the east London outfit in the current climate.

Especially if that money is used to sign someone like Eberechi Eze this summer.
