Dean Smith is worried that he will miss out on his number one target Said Benrahma as West Ham line up a move for the Algerian, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

Both the Villans and the Hammers want to sign the electric Brentford winger this summer, according to the Mail.
Smith desperately needs to bolster his attacking ranks at Villa Park this summer.
And although David Moyes does have plenty of attacking options, the Scot could soon be in the same boat at the London Stadium with Grady Diangana closing in on a move to West Brom (ExWHUemployee) and Felipe Anderson having been offered to Arsenal on loan (The Mirror).
The Daily Mail reckon that West Ham are ramping up their interest in £20 million rated Bees ace Said Benrahma. And Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is allegedly fearful that he will miss out on his number one target this summer.
The 25-year-old was in sizzling form for Brentford last season. And he would be an outstanding addition for us this summer.
The Algeria international racked up an incredible 17 goals and nine assists in 45 league games for the Bees (Who Scored).
In those outings, he averaged 3.9 shots, 2.2 key passes and three dribbles per game (Who Scored).
If Diangana and Anderson do end up leaving the London Stadium, Benrahma would be a great replacement.
And £20 million sounds like decent value for someone who performed to such high levels last season. The Daily Mail states that that price could drop as well the longer the transfer window rumbles on.
David Moyes clearly needs to prioritise strengthening his defence this summer. But if the West Ham boss is able to do that as well as adding Benrahma to his ranks, it might just end up being a decent summer after all.
