West Ham loanee Jordan Hugill scored yet again for Queens Park Rangers in midweek.

Hugill chalked up his seventh goal of the season since joining QPR on loan. This made it 2-1 to the high-flying Hoops on the night but the game ended 2-2.

QPR were held by Reading on a frustrating night where they led twice. Mark Warburton’s men moved up to fourth but would have been in the automatic promotion spots if Hugill’s goal was the winner.

Hugill is loving life in West London since his summer loan move. The 27-year-old has taken 13 games to reach seven goals and already matched last season’s tally. During the 2018/19 season, he scored seven times in 41 games for Middlesbrough.

QPR’s official Twitter account has given their loan striker a new nickname after his recent goalscoring exploits. The Hammers loanee is now dubbed ‘Hugoal’ after he netted a half-volley via a deflection against Reading.

Hoops fans are loving his new nickname and even Hugill took to Twitter to share his appreciation.

Hugill is becoming a fan favourite at Loftus Road. With Hugill and Nahki Wells up front, QPR are mounting a serious push for promotion. And Hugill is silencing a few critics.

Here are some tweets from grateful QPR fans after Hugill notched his seventh strike of the season.
