It looks to be a case of another one bites the dust for West Ham United in the transfer market.
That’s if news from Spain today is anything to go by.
According to a report from Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, West Ham headed into January ready to battle it out with Wolves to sign AC Milan playmaker Suso.
The Italian publication claimed the Hammers wanted the 25-year-old Spaniard.

West Ham facing crucial week on and off the pitch
West Ham are being kept out of the relegation zone by virtue of a slightly superior goal difference going into Wednesday’s game against Liverpool.
And beleaguered boss David Moyes told The Evening Standard he is looking to strengthen the creative area of his team due to injuries and the disappointing form of the likes of Manuel Lanzini.
So it figures that the Hammers might be considering a player like Suso.

Sevilla jump ahead of Hammers for Suso?
West Ham seemed to receive a big boost when Suso handed in a transfer request at the San Siro last week.
But according to Estadio Deportivo Sevilla are now frontrunners for his signature.
The La Liga side are said to be locked in negotiations for Suso.

Time running out in window
Sevilla reportedly prefer a loan deal while Milan want to sell the midfielder.
It would be another blow for Moyes who missed out on young midfielder Gedson Fernandes to Tottenham earlier this month.
West Ham have until Friday night to bolster their squad.
Supporter unrest is growing and the club’s inactivity in the transfer market – besides the return of backup goalkeeper Darren Randolph – is exacerbating the situation
