The 25-year-old has been an absolute revelation for the Hammers since moving to the London Stadium on loan this time last year.
The Czech Republic international then made his loan move a permanent one in July for around £18.5 million (WHUFC.com).
Soucek has completely transformed us as a team.

Paul Merson is a huge fan of Tomas Soucek
The former Slavia Prague ace has already scored seven Premier League goals this season.
He arrived at West Ham billed as a defensive midfielder. And whilst he certainly contributes defensively, he is far more effective when deployed in a more attacking role.
Paul Merson is a very big fan of Soucek and compared the Hammers star to David Platt, when speaking on Sky Sports last night (Monday, January 31st, 15:52):

“I like Soucek, I think he’s a very good player, he reminds me of David Platt. He makes good runs into the box and he’s a good finisher.”
Soucek is a huge fan favourite at the London Stadium.
He is absolutely vital to the Hammers’ hopes of cracking the top six this season.
And if the Czech ace goes on to enjoy a similar career to that of David Platt, he will be a very successful player.
Let’s just hope that he remains at West Ham for the remainder of his career!
