Declan has reached a new level entirely this season. He has transformed into more of a box-to-box midfielder from a deep-lying holding one.

The England international is incredibly highly rated in the footballing world but especially in East London.

So much so that the Hammers will apparently be demanding at least £150 million for his services (The Daily Mail).

Moyes will obviously be desperate to keep Rice at West Ham for at least another season as he continues to build on what he has already started. And it seems as though that is exactly what will happen…

Declan Rice contract claim made buy club insiders

Claret and Hugh reckon that West Ham have an agreement with Dec that he will stay at the club for at least one more season.

The Hammers are allegedly prepared to pay the 23-year-old in excess of £200k-a-week in order to make that possible.

If we do manage to tie down Rice to a new deal, it would be truly brilliant for the club.

Not only will we keep Dec for another season at least but we would also be protecting the value of our most prized asset.

Under David Moyes, the sky is the limit for West Ham. However, keeping Rice at the London Stadium will be crucial to our hopes of achieving any kind of success.

And judging by Claret and Hugh’s claim, it seems as though that’s exactly what will happen, for at least another 12 months.
