Only Burnley and Klopp stand in West Ham’s way
It is some record and one which will surely put West Ham’s Chilean mastermind Pellegrini on course for the top manager gong for the month.
Their only defeat came at home to Watford at the weekend where the Hornets were as ruthless as West Ham were profligate.
Burnley stand in the way of West Ham making it six wins from seven in December this Sunday.
West Ham will take confidence from the fact they beat the Clarets 4-2 at home in the reverse fixture.
First Hammers boss to win since Big Sam?
Pellegrini is in a two-way battle for the award with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
With the Reds riding high at the top of the Premier League nobody will be surprised to the German win it.
But victory for the Hammers at Turf Moor will make things very interesting indeed.
Should Pellegrini win the manager of the month award he will be the first boss since Sam Allardyce to do so.
Allardyce landed the honour over four years ago in October 2014 after three wins from four for West Ham that month.
