Leaked images showing West Ham United’s new third kit have emerged online ahead of its release today.
West Ham announced before the summer that the club has extended its deal with kit makers Umbro.
West Ham were going into the last of a five-year agreement with the football brand.

Major milestone
This season marks 40 years since West Ham’s last major trophy triumph, the 1-0 FA Cup win over Arsenal.
Supporters were expectant that the new kits should do the anniversary justice.
The home shirt pays homage to the Admiral home shirt of that time.
And the universally loved white away kit is a nod to the 1980 FA Cup final shirt.

New third kit leaked online
So what of the new third strip?
Pictures of the purple and pink shirt have emerged online ahead of its release on Wednesday.
The West Ham store on the club’s official website was out of action this morning. But some users would have got a brief glimpse of Manuel Lanzini and Winston Reid modelling the kit in a banner advert (whufc.com).
It is fair to say many fans are far from impressed.
Seen by the majority as a glorified training top, some West Ham supporters blasted the new strip on Twitter.

‘Ugly, meh, looks like a training top’
Described as ‘ugly’ the shirt has not gone down well.
West Ham fans who dislike it will just have to hope the third kit – like most in recent seasons – rarely gets to see the light of day once the new season gets underway.
Here is the kit in question and a selection of responses from fans on Twitter.
Now that it’s been leaked elsewhere you can compare the two 👀👍⚒ #Fraud #kingoftheguesses pic.twitter.com/AD4yrCmCWj

Completely pointless shirt. If you ain’t gonna do something a bit different with it then what’s the point of it at all?

To be honest, it’s ugly. This years kits are not great, but white without sponsor is the best one.
