According to a report from Le 10 Sport, Liverpool have made contact with Thomas Meunier regarding a potential summer move to Anfield. And if that is true, West Ham surely now have no chance of signing the Belgian ace.

The Express claimed that David Moyes wants to bring the 28-year-old right-back to the London Stadium.
The Hammers’ task was already looking tricky, however. Tottenham also want to sign Meunier, according to a report from French media outlet L’Equipe.
And with Liverpool now allegedly in the race to sign the 40-capped Belgium international, it really could be mission impossible for West Ham.
Jurgen Klopp has assembled one of the best teams in world football at Anfield. And most players would give anything to play for the German at Liverpool.
So if Meunier has a choice between the Reds and the Hammers, there really will be only one outcome.
The 28-year-old is available on a free transfer this summer. And he might just be a real coup for whichever club wins the race to sign.
In 27 appearances for PSG this season, Meunier has racked up one goal and two assists (Transfermarkt).
In 16 Ligue 1 outings, the 28-year-old has averaged 1.7 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, 0.9 clearances and 0.3 blocks (Who Scored).
ESPN claimed last month that Meunier was nearing a switch to Borussia Dortmund. And he was offered around £170,000 per week) in wages.
That move failed to materialise, however.
So West Ham would have thought that they still had a chance to sign the PSG defender.
But Liverpool’s late interest in the right-back really could shatter the Hammers’ hopes of signing Meunier this summer.
