West Ham United joker Michail Antonio has shared a hilarious picture on social media ahead of the season restart next week.

Antonio is a hugely popular figure among players and fans at West Ham.

He once famously wrapped former Hammer Marko Arnautovic’s expensive supercar in Christmas wrapping paper.

And back in December he crashed his own expensive car dressed in full snowman costume on his way to surprise family.

Antonio is famed for his funny celebrations too.

Fans will hope to see a new one when West Ham resume their relegation battle next week against Wolves.

Survival back on the agenda for West Ham

David Moyes’s side have nine games to secure Premier League safety.

Tensions will undoubtedly be high and players may be rusty after the enforced three month break.

So West Ham will need people like Antonio on and off the pitch – not just for his workrate, pace, power and enthusiasm but his excellent attitude and contribution to team spirit too.

Antonio up to his OLD tricks with hilarious photo

He was up to his OLD tricks again on Friday when he posted a hilarious photograph on social media.

The image – which for West Ham’s sake fans will be hoping is heavily edited – has been given an ageing filter.

And the results have to be seen to be believed.

It shows Antonio celebrating with West Ham teammates Robert Snodgrass, Declan Rice and Fabian Balbuena.

The West Ham quartet look a good few years older.

“Buzzing to get back playing next Saturday, all gonna be looking a little older and wiser. COYI,” Antonio said on Twitter.

West Ham fans have aged after torrid season

Antonio was on the scoresheet when West Ham beat QPR 4-1 in a friendly this week ahead of the resumption.

West Ham will play Crystal Palace on Saturday before a full week of training ahead of Wolves.

That game, as with all remaining fixtures, will be broadcast live on TV.

Antonio may have been joking but West Ham fans feel like they have aged this season watching their team struggle after being tipped to challenge for the European spots.
