Plenty of West Ham fans were calling for Declan Rice to be handed a new contract after Mark Noble signed an extension.
West Ham skipper Noble penned a one-year extension, taking him through to summer 2021 when he would have served 17 years as a Hammer.
The 31-year-old is a boyhood West Ham fans and has only ever had a permanent contract with West Ham.

The 19-year-old has been fantastic for West Ham this season, operating in a holding midfield role just in front of the defence.
After turning in several man of the match displays, Rice has established himself in the first-team and he will be hard to budge.
But his contract situation is worrying West Ham fans, especially with other clubs lurking.
Manchester United and Chelsea are among the teams keen on the teenager, according to The Metro.
And with Rice earning just £3,000-per-week, as per The Guardian, West Ham fans are understandably calling for the club to reward him with a contract which reflects his importance to the team.
